USO Kimballs if they werent beat to death the notes would at least last 5 seconds before dying. These pianos maintain their voicing and tuning really well.

A typical Kimball turn-of-the-century upright piano has longer strings and a larger soundboard than most upright pianos and the tone quality especially in the bass can be exceptional in a restored antique Kimball piano.

Kimball became a mediocre piano brand. So Kimball is one of the worst piano ever. In the western countries North America and Europe only the best brands survived but Chinese pianos are getting better and better.

While the piano does not have the warmest or darkest tone it does have a very good balance all around. The only possible exception to that rule is. Thank god Yamaha bought it BosendÃrfer recently.

Once Kimball moved their factory to Indiana in 1959 quality control problems started to emerge. Kimball and Company 1857-1959. If this piano was still manufactured in Arkansas the price would surely be 35k to 40k.
